Restructuring Update: Basis the framework and regulatory guidelines provided by RBI to lending institutions for implementation of resolution plans to address the economic fallout due to the COVID-19 pandemic, TFSIN has framed a policy for its customers for restructuring of the loan/s of individuals and entities that have been impacted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As per the policy the individuals/entities wishing to opt for the restructuring must submit a formal application to TFSIN. The restructuring application shall be for one or all the loans by a single application. TFSIN shall assess the application in line with the regulatory guidelines on COVID-19 impact and viability of the repayment plan before decisioning on the restructuring request as per internal guidelines.

As per regulatory and legal requirements, all borrowers/co-borrowers of the original loan need to agree and sign on any changes in the loan structure including the restructuring agreement once the restructuring application is accepted and approved by TFSIN.
